Sandbox Terms of Use

Stethoscore provides OET practice materials, automated feedback, band estimates, progress tools, and a sandbox subscription experience. It is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to CBLA or Cambridge. It is not medical advice, an official exam product, or a guarantee of an exam outcome.

You must be at least 18 and able to enter this agreement. Sign-in is through Google. Keep access to your Google account secure and tell us promptly if you believe your Stethoscore account has been misused. One person may not share an account with others.

Paddle sandbox checkout uses test payment details and does not charge real money. Displayed plans, prices, quotas, and renewal states are for testing and may be changed or reset. The first test billing period deliberately carries a reduced allowance: monthly plans receive 10 writing grades, 10 speaking sessions, 5 lessons, and 20 analyses; 3-month plans receive 50, 50, 25, and 100 respectively. There are no real refunds for sandbox transactions.

Automated feedback can be incomplete or wrong. Band estimates are uncalibrated practice indicators, not official OET scores. You are responsible for checking feedback, case-note interpretation, and clinical language. Use fictional or properly de-identified practice material only; do not upload patient records or confidential workplace information.

Do not automate access, probe or bypass security, overload the service, impersonate another person, scrape or redistribute test content, resell feedback, upload unlawful material, or use the service to make clinical decisions. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, providers, or the service.

You keep rights in text you submit. You give Stethoscore a limited permission to process that text only to provide, secure, evaluate, and improve the sandbox as described in the Privacy Notice. Stethoscore's software, branding, reports, and original practice content remain ours or our licensors'. You may use generated feedback for your own study but may not commercially redistribute the service or its content.

This is a test service. Features may be incomplete, unavailable, or changed without notice, and data may be reset when reasonably required for testing or security. We will try to give notice before planned changes that materially affect saved practice data, but no uptime or support-time guarantee applies during sandbox testing.

You can stop using the service and delete your account from the Account page. We may end sandbox access for breach, security risk, discontinuation, or the transition to a commercial version. Provisions that by nature should survive—such as ownership, disclaimers, and lawful record retention—continue after access ends.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the sandbox is provided “as is” and without warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or exam success. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Because no real fee is paid for sandbox access, Stethoscore's aggregate liability arising from the sandbox is limited to direct losses reasonably foreseeable from our breach, subject to rights that applicable consumer law preserves.
